This is my basic sirloin pork roast recipe. Cooking overnight in the crock pot leaves a wonderful roast to season as you feel fit the next day.
Ingredients
  • Sirloin Pork Roast
  • 1Tablespoon Crushed Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt (I prefer Redmonds Real Salt)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup water or broth
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
Instructions
  1. Rub the sides of the crock pot with 1 tablespoon butter (helps with sticking)
  2. Pour the ½ cup water or broth in the crock pot
  3. Place the roast in the crock pot
  4. Cover with all of the seasonings
  5. Place the remaining tablespoon of butter on top of the roast
  6. Place lid, cook on low for 6-8 hours or until internal temperature reaches at least 145 degrees F.
  7. Once the roast has reached temperature, turn the crock pot to warm, shred the roast into all of the broth that has remained.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
I enjoy this roast for a few days with different sauces. First day I love it as BBQ, paired with my favorite low carb BBQ Sauce - G Hughes Hickory.
