It is that time of year I am looking for new ways to use my zucchini. This looks to be a tasty one, although I never have ground turkey and always have chicken. I am going to grind up my chicken and give this a try. Also, if you have a salad spinner it works great to get the extra water out of the zucchini.

Daily Recipe Find – Healthy Buffalo Macaroni and Cheese
Pasta, pasta, one of my favorites. I like the addition of buffalo chicken. I generally don’t make food spicy food, although sometimes it sounds good. This recipe is nice, especially if you make your own chicken it is easy to adjust the spice level to what you enjoy.

Daily Recipe Find – Roasted Beet and Kale Salad
I admit I am getting into beets, not just plain but recipes filled with a few new ingredients to add layers of flavor. This is one of those recipes. And I am happy my kale made it through my forgetful watering this summer and is very happy with some cooler nights.

Daily Recipe Find – Slow Cooker Balsamic Glazed Chicken
Today’s find will be our dinner tonight! I have so many cherry tomatoes, this sounds like an easy light and refreshing dinner, served with rice. Let the slow cooker do the dinner work, while I do the garden work.

Sushi Sunday – September 2016
It is Sushi Sunday time, although this month was a tiny one, yet fun because I was able to try out a new restaurant while we were on vacation.

Daily Recipe Finds – Deviled eggs with a twist
Some things are so simple, yet when I come across them I am still amazed someone came up with it. I enjoy deviled eggs, I generally make basic, mayo, mustard, garlic, onion powder, sometimes mix in an avocado. Or salsa. Why have I never thought of Tuna?
This recipe for 6 Ingredient Tuna Salad Stuffed Eggs sounds really good, I would still have to add mayo, mustard combo for a creamier texture.

Daily Recipe Finds – Fried Goat Cheese with Honey and Black Pepper
I love goat cheese, it is light and fluffy, so may flavors can be added to it. This recipe is made with plain goat cheese. I would enjoy it with adding rosemary and garlic to the cheese, then start the process.

Daily Recipe Finds – Tomato Cheddar Galette
I just picked 6 pounds of cherry tomatoes and there are still more to pick. Although this recipe isn’t for cherry tomatoes, I am sure they would work just take the time for some thin slices. If your large tomatoes are getting ripe it is the perfect time for this treat.

Daily Recipe Find – Zucchini Onion Pie
My zucchini is in full production, a little issue with squash bugs, although I am hopeful they are under control now. Well, hopeful they are all dead now.
This is a tasty looking recipe and really easy, mix and bake. This would also be good in mid winter, a nice reminder of summer harvests. I generally shred and freeze my extra zucchini during the summer. When I want to use it in the winter, thaw it out and put in a salad spinner to get out the extra moisture.
