The Food Fun Thanksgiving Finale is pies.
I may be full after dinner, but I have to have pie, with lots of whipped cream. So, after all of the preparations, days of cooking, I crash on the couch and take a nap.

Happy Part Two of Weekly Food Fun – Thanksgiving Casseroles
Casseroles, we could spend weeks on casseroles. There are so many to choose from, I really try not get carried away, although, it is food, it is Thanksgiving, so, well I have a hard time limiting them. Except for sweet potatoes. They do become limited and easy.

Weekly Food Fun Wishes to You!
This past week was more of a preparation week than a cooking week. Working with some special people on a new gaming website to launch soon, and needing to get Thanksgiving preparations started. I have finally dug out all of my recipes, and printed out some new ones I found. Each cooking season I say I am going to neatly file the recipes in a nice folder. And, the season passes and I never do, I shove them back into my recipe cabinet and move onto searching for the next batch of recipes. Maybe this year I will finally organize it. If not, I will certainly enjoy the food, and then shove them back into the cabinet.

This week brought our first snow of the season. It didn’t last but it did snow, so I had to follow my annual tradition of chili and cornbread for dinner.

Good Morning!
A morning smile induced by French Toast!
My egg batter has cinnamon and vanilla, fry in the same cast iron skillet as I cooked the bacon in.
Then cover it with honey butter and maple syrup. Oh, good morning.
Enjoy the Fun of Food!

Happy Food Fun!
The final round of pumpkins brought a skillet full of seeds. There are so many recipes out there for pumpkin seeds with all sorts of flavors to add. We always just enjoy the basic olive oil and salt. I baked them in my large cast iron skillet this year they turned out nice and crispy good. So for me, no more baking on a cookie sheet they will go in the cast iron.
